Happy new year everyone.
It has been a long hibernation but with the new road map out of isolation it is time to get your summer sorted.
The Island Redwing Champs group would like to welcome the wider Redwing fleet to a week of racing to compete for the 2021 annual championship in the Islands starting August 21st-28th.
The Redwing Nationals are on this year (and we are very optimistic that they will be allowed come August) so with all of the expected uk based holidays this year it is more important than ever to get your accommodation and ferry booked up as soon as possible. To put you at ease, if the government restrictions prevent the event from going ahead the Steamship Company have reassured us that bookings will be transferred or cancelled and refunded without loss. We imagine that you will be able to make similar arrangements with accommodation providers.

I have a refitted RW ‘Cherokee’. (98) for sale, here in Scilly , as age and health have caught up with me !
She is as Uffa designed ….Iron keel, wood mast , so there is no trapeze… but would give great fun battling. with the other few remaining genuine boats (!) , as she did last time out in the Round the Island (St. Mary’s) race.
Any reasonable offer would be considered to see her out there in August.
