One of our largest fleets has developed in recent years on the Isles of Scilly. There are now 13 seaworthy Redwings on the Islands with several others stashed in barns awaiting their turn to be reinstated to active service. There is a huge amount of enthusiasm for our class on Scilly, which will saw us return for the third time for the National Championship in 2021.

For the first time a new Redwing has been built on Scilly – more specifically on St Agnes. This is a huge undertaking and required huge skill and patience. We watched the build progress and enjoyed seeing the development of R255 by Ben and Toby Hicks. R255 is a real work of art and a true testament to what a modern, competitive Redwing can be like.
