Refurbishing, replacing and renewing.

Clifford Adams of Looe was the longstanding builder of Redwing dinghies. He built his last full Redwing R254 in 2018 but continued to support the class with parts until his passing in 2023. A great number of Redwing sailors and owners were thankful to Clifford for his service to the class and can’t possibly imagine how many of our faithful boats owe at least some of their parts to Clifford’s skilled hands.

Ben and Toby Hicks from St Agnes, Isles of Scilly are the most recent to build a new Redwing having built R255. This is a stunning build with incredible attention to detail. They would welcome a commission for the next build.

Stephen Beresford of The Good Wood Boat Company has also made a Redwing in recent years among the many other builds and restorations that he is completing. An excellent contact for parts, refurbishment or possibly a new build.
